Ingredients
- 240g all-purpose flour
- 396g granulated sugar
- 63g cocoa powder
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1.5 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup milk (or buttermilk)
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup boiling water

Steps
- Preheat over to 350F
- Line 2 9-inch springform pans with parchment paper and/or spray
- Mix dry ingredients in a stand mixer
- Add wet ingredients (except water) to stand mixer & continue to mix on low speed
- Add water slowly
- Pour batter (it will be very wet!) into pans & bake for ~30 mins
